Snappy Fall days are here again

This morning as I was getting ready to head out and do my usual routine, I was surprised that the usually green grass in my area is suddenly showing a tint of brown. That can only mean one thing: Fall is finally coming!

Fall's always my favorite season -- there's so much beauty in falling leaves. I always wonder what's the equivalent of the seasons in heaven.. or will there even be seasons in heaven. Either way, I know that everything on earth, despite how beautiful it can sometimes be, will pale in comparison to heaven. And of course, even heaven itself will pale miserably in comparison to the most beautiful One who made it all in the first place -- the Lord our God.

Oh, how I long to see the face of the One who died for me.
